Refund Policy

Sales for preowned bags are final. By electing to purchase buyer agrees they have reviewed all images and are satisfied with the condition; and read the description provided along with photos. Buyer understands that preowned or handmade items from preowned bags are NOT new. Sense of smell varies by individual and is not a reason for a return on a preowned or handmade item. Preowned items are in fact; preowned and therefore do NOT present as new in any way. All items are guaranteed authentic or your money back. Money back guarantee is initiated by authentication via third party service that provides signed documentation.

Custom items are handmade and therefore may have variances or contain minor imperfections. This is part of their uniqueness. Please allow a 2 week TAT for custom handmade items unless stated otherwise. Handmade items may utilize material from salvage bags. These bags I have deemed irreparable and instead, alter. These bags are also 100% authentic. Every effort is made to make sure your item canvas and materials match. But variances may occur.

Buyer must inspect items immediately upon receipt. Buyer has 24 hours from the time tracking shows delivered to contact us with any discrepancies from the description to the item received. Buyer is responsible for return shipping, except in the rare case of an authentication issue.

To start a return, you can contact us at shopatthecarousel@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will NOT be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards or custom orders, except in the case of incorrect order fulfillment. 

 

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
